Reut Shalgi

Research Interests: Translational regulation, Chaperone networks, Genomics, Gene expression regulation, Systems Biology.

Main projects in the lab: Tranlsational control in mammalian cells during stress response and disease formation, especially neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s Huntington’s ALS and more. We also study Ribosome-associated chaperones, chaperone-mediated translational control, chaperone protein-protein interaction networks. We use cutting-edge methodologies, including genomics, RNA-seq, Ribo-seq and LUMIER in-vivo high throughput protein-protein interaction assays.

Are there any open positions in the lab? Looking for highly motivated MSc and PhD students in molecular and computational biology, or combined computational-experimental (see add under “Available Positions”).
