Research interests: Our Computational Cancer Genomics lab addresses unanswered questions in cancer biology through the development of computational methods and tools. Our projects are diverse and include (among others), the role of the immune system is cancer development, disease early detection, and the evolutionary aspects in cancer resistance. While we are a “dry” lab doing computational research, we collaborate with experimentalist and clinicians in Israel and around the world to tackle these challenges, thus turning data into knowledge and therapy.
Open positions: We are looking for highly motivated MSc and PhD students in computer science and computational biology to join our team. Don’t hesitate to contact: kyizhak@technion.ac.il
